Manoranjitham “Ranji” SriKanthan, age 72, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a long illness. Though our hearts are filled with sorrow, we remain deeply grateful for the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared with everyone around her.

72 வயதான திருமதி மனோரஞ்சிதம் (ரஞ்சி) ஸ்ரீகாந்தன் அவர்கள், நீண்டகால உடல்நலக் குறைவின் பின்னர், 2026 ஜூலை 30 ஆம் நாள், தனது அன்பு குடும்பத்தினரின் அரவணைப்பில் அமைதியாக இறைவனடி சேர்ந்தார். அவரை இழந்த துயரத்தில் எங்கள் இதயங்கள் கனத்திருந்தாலும், அவர் வாழ்ந்த அர்த்தமுள்ள வாழ்க்கைக்கும், அனைவரிடமும் பகிர்ந்த அன்பிற்கும் நாங்கள் என்றும் நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கிறோம்.

A Devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother

Ranji shared 53 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Thillaiampalam SriKanthan. Together they built a home founded on love, respect, sacrifice, and faith. She was a devoted mother to Shivanthy, a caring mother-in-law to Dermot, and a proud grandmother to Adam, Nisha, and Mia. Her family was the center of her life.

தனது அன்புக் கணவர் திரு. தில்லைஅம்பலம் ஸ்ரீகாந்தன் அவர்களுடன் 53 ஆண்டுகள் அன்பும், புரிந்துணர்வும், தியாகமும் நிறைந்த இனிய இல்லற வாழ்க்கையை வாழ்ந்தார். மகள் சிவாந்தி, மருமகன் டெர்மட், பேரப்பிள்ளைகள் ஆடம், நிஷா, மியா ஆகியோரின் மீது அளவற்ற பாசம் கொண்ட அன்புத் தாயும் பாசமிகு பாட்டியுமாவார். குடும்பமே அவரது உலகமாக இருந்தது.

A Life Built Through Dedication

Married at the age of 19, Ranji immigrated to the United States with her husband in 1973. Through determination, humility, and hard work, she built a remarkable career at John Hancock Mutual Life Company, serving faithfully for 45 years and advancing from secretary to insurance analyst.

A Heart That Lived for Others

Ranji’s greatest gift was her kindness. Her home was always open, her table was always full, and every guest was welcomed with warmth and love. She found joy in cooking for family and friends, ensuring no one ever left her home hungry. She gave without expecting anything in return and always placed the needs of others before her own.

ரஞ்சி அம்மாவின் மிகப் பெரிய செல்வம் அவரது அன்பும் கருணையும் ஆகும். அவரது இல்லம் எப்போதும் உறவினர்களுக்கும் நண்பர்களுக்கும் திறந்திருந்தது. அவரது வீட்டிற்கு வந்தவர்கள் யாரும் உணவருந்தாமல் திரும்பியதில்லை. சமையல் செய்வதும், அன்போடு பரிமாறுவதும் அவருக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருந்தது. எந்தப் பிரதிபலனையும் எதிர்பாராமல் பிறருக்காக வாழ்ந்த தியாக உள்ளம் கொண்டவர்.

A Legacy That Will Never Fade

என்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கும் நினைவுகள்

Although Ranji is no longer with us in person, her love, kindness, generosity, and quiet strength will continue to live on in the hearts of her husband, daughter, grandchildren, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life reminds us that true greatness is found not in wealth or recognition, but in love, compassion, and service to others.

ரஞ்சி அம்மா இன்று எம்முடன் உடலால் இல்லாவிட்டாலும், அவரது அன்பு, கருணை, தியாகம், எளிமை மற்றும் உயர்ந்த மனிதநேயம் அவரது குடும்பத்தினரின் இதயங்களிலும், அவரை அறிந்த அனைவரின் நினைவுகளிலும் என்றும் வாழும். செல்வத்தாலும் புகழாலும் அல்ல, அன்பாலும் மனிதநேயத்தாலும் தான் ஒரு வாழ்க்கை உயர்வடைகிறது என்பதை அவரது வாழ்வு எமக்கு உணர்த்துகிறது.
