NEW PRESTON – Subramaniam Balendra, of New Preston, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025.
A gathering to honor and remember his life will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Carpino Funeral Home, located at 750 Main Street South, Southbury, Connecticut.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Mr. Balendra. He was a resilient and visionary businessman whose contributions extended far beyond his community. In Jaffna, he made a lasting impact by creating employment opportunities for many women in need, empowering lives through compassion and determination.
His legacy of generosity, strength, and leadership will be remembered by all who knew him. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones and wish him eternal peace.
