இலங்கையின் மறுப்புக்கு தமிழ் புலம்பெயர் சமூகம் பதிலளிக்கிறது – நீதி மற்றும் தமிழர் இறையாண்மைக்கான அழைப்பை மீண்டும் உறுதிப்படுத்துகிறது.

போரின் இறுதிக் கட்டங்களில் கடுமையான மனித உரிமை மீறல்களுக்குப் பொறுப்பான நபர்கள் மீது ஐக்கிய இராச்சியம் சமீபத்தில் விதித்த தடைகளுக்கு இலங்கை அரசாங்கம் அளித்த புறக்கணிப்பு எதிர்வினையை தமிழ் புலம்பெயர்ந்தோர் சமூகம் வன்மையாகக் கண்டிக்கிறது.

இந்த எதிர்வினை இலங்கையில் தமிழர்கள் பெருமளவில் கொல்லப்படுவது, பரவலான பாலியல் வன்முறை, இராணுவ ஆக்கிரமிப்பு, முறையான ஒடுக்குமுறை மற்றும் கேரளாவிலிருந்து அரசு செயல்படுத்தப்பட்ட போதைப்பொருள் கடத்தல் மற்றும் சுரண்டல் பொருட்களின் புழக்கத்தின் மூலம் தமிழ் இளைஞர்களை அழிப்பது போன்ற தொடர்ச்சியான மனநிலையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது.

இந்த நடவடிக்கைகள் தனிமைப்படுத்தப்பட்ட சம்பவங்கள் அல்ல, மாறாக சிங்கள ஆதிக்கத்தின் கீழ் தமிழ் மக்களை பலவீனப்படுத்தவும், வறுமைப்படுத்தவும், அடிமைப்படுத்தவும் வேண்டுமென்றே செய்யப்பட்ட முயற்சியாகும் .

இலங்கை அரசாங்கம் “உள்நாட்டு பொறுப்புக்கூறல்” என்று அழைக்கப்படுவதை ஊக்குவிக்கும் அதே வேளையில், சர்வதேச அக்கறையை நிராகரிப்பது தண்டனையிலிருந்து தப்பிப்பதற்கான ஒரு மறைப்பாகும். நீதி அல்லது நல்லிணக்கத்திற்கான உண்மையான நோக்கம் அரசுக்கு இல்லை என்பதை இது மீண்டும் நிரூபிக்கிறது.

எனவே, 2009 தமிழ் இனப்படுகொலையின் போது ஆதரவளித்த அல்லது அமைதியாக இருந்த இங்கிலாந்து உட்பட அனைத்து ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றிய உறுப்பு நாடுகளும் இப்போது ஒரு தார்மீக நிலைப்பாட்டை எடுக்குமாறு நாங்கள் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறோம் . இது நேரம்:

உண்மையான நீதி மற்றும் நீடித்த அமைதிக்கான ஒரே பாதையாக தமிழர் இறையாண்மையை மீட்டெடுப்பதை ஆதரியுங்கள் .

சிங்கள மேலாதிக்கத்தின் அடிப்படையில் கட்டமைக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு ஆட்சிக்கு மௌனமும் சமாதானமும் தைரியத்தை மட்டுமே அளித்துள்ளன. துணிச்சலான, சரியான நடவடிக்கைக்கான நேரம் இப்போது.

The Tamil Diaspora strongly condemns the Sri Lankan government’s dismissive response to the United Kingdom’s recent sanctions on individuals responsible for grave human rights violations during the final stages of the war.

This reaction reveals a continued mindset in Sri Lanka—one that sees the mass killing of Tamils, widespread sexual violence, military aggression, systemic oppression, and the destruction of Tamil youth through state-enabled drug smuggling from Kerala and the circulation of exploitative materials as matters unworthy of accountability.

These actions were not isolated incidents but a deliberate effort to weaken, impoverish, and enslave the Tamil population under Sinhala dominance.

The Sri Lankan government’s rejection of international concern, while promoting so-called “domestic accountability,” is a smokescreen for impunity. It proves once again that the state has no genuine intention of justice or reconciliation.

Therefore, we urge all EU member states, including the United Kingdom, who supported or remained silent during the 2009 Tamil genocide, to now take a moral stand. It is time to:

Apologize for their complicity or inaction;
Recognize the Tamil people’s right to self-determination;
Support the restoration of Tamil sovereignty as the only path to true justice and lasting peace.

Silence and appeasement have only emboldened a regime built on Sinhala supremacy. The time for bold, corrective action is now.
