Mr. Thambiduray Muthukumarswamy (Kumar), who hailed from Tirunelveli and resided in Washington, United States, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026.

He was the beloved son of the late Thambiduray (Retired Judge) and Maruthapravikavalli, and the cherished son-in-law of the late Thambipillai and Sellamah.

He was the loving husband of Dr. Sivaneswary.

He was the dear brother of Sivagnanavalli, the late Sivahamasundari, Anandhakumaraswamy, Kanagasundari, Dr. Krishnal, Parvatha Devi, and Sivarupavathi.

He was also the beloved brother-in-law of the late Gulendran, Shanmugaraja, Sivamanokari, Sithamparanathan, the late Jayarajasingam, Tharmalingam, the late Surendran, Dr. Kathiravetpillai, Malika, Thangavel, Dr. Baheerathy, Gnanavel, Kalanithy, Maheswary, the late Subramaniam, Thaneswari, Kanahasundharam, and the late Rajeswary.

He was the dear uncle of Geethanjali, G. Gayathri, Gopitha, Marutha, Kumara, Murali, Amutha, Shanheetha, Rathika, Aravindan, A. Gayathri, and Gayani.
