The Tamil Mothers of missing Tamil children in Vavuniya issued a press statement on November 7, 2023. They made their statement from their booth, which was located in front of the courthouse on A-9 road.
Today marks the 2,450th day of our tireless efforts to locate the missing Tamil children, protect our community from future genocide, and seek support from the US and EU in achieving Tamil sovereignty. Standing before the Vavuniya courthouse in this pavilion along the A-9 road, our journey persists unabated.
As mothers of missing Tamils, we are vehemently opposing the Chinese encroachment upon the lands and fishing waters in our beloved Tamil homeland.
The seizure of Tamil land is regarded as a violation by the Tamils, who are still seeking resolution for their ongoing issue at the UNHRC. The Tamils are hopeful that the co-chair donor countries of Sri Lanka will address the political problems and provide a solution.
The so-called friends of India are discussing the ineffective 13th amendment. However, they are not concerned about our lands and fishing waters being taken by the combined forces of China and Sri Lanka
India’s foreign policy requires a strong backbone. India’s behavior towards Sri Lanka is currently exhibiting a sense of inferiority. The manner in which Indian ministers bow to the Bhikkhus and war criminal Rajapaksa demonstrates their sense of inferiority.
Why do the Hindu Indians bows the Bikkus who killed the Hindus. and demolished the Hindu temples?
We are urging all Tamil politicians who have a fondness for India to use their influence and speak up against certain actions, encouraging India to change their behavior and showcase their strength of character..
The political parties that composed the letter to Modi, which included all five Tamil parties, have failed in their political pursuits.
India’s security is being threatened by Chinese aggression in the northeastern region of Sri Lanka.
That is precisely why we are seeking assistance from the US and the EU. Their foreign policy displays strength and determination. Whether we agree with it or not, the bold actions taken by the US in Ukraine and the Middle East demonstrate their resolve.
We unanimously appealed to the United States for assistance in countering Chinese and Sinhalese aggression.
We strongly encourage the US ambassador to send a cable to the US State Department regarding the present situation.
The Tamils should be granted sovereignty to address the issue of foreign aggression on this island.
Once the Chinese are in the Tamil homeland, it is difficult to ask them to leave. Look around Africa and Carribean Islands, the same thing will happen here too.
We would like to mention of the Chineses:
China’s human rights records and treatment of Muslims are concerning. Reports show violations of freedom of speech, expression, religion, and more. Muslims in Xinjiang face mass detentions, raising questions about religious freedom.
China has been expanding its influence in various parts of the world, and Sri Lanka is no exception.
One of the key areas of concern is the Hambantota Port located in the southern part of Sri Lanka. This deep-sea port, built with Chinese funds, has raised eyebrows due to its strategic location and potential military implications. It is argued that this port could potentially be used by China for military purposes, which has understandably raised some geopolitical concerns.
