A Warning Against Land Seizure and Renewed Conflict
The continued seizure and settlement of land in the traditional Tamil homeland must stop. Using archaeology, religious symbols, or distorted historical narratives to dispossess Tamil communities will deepen resentment and may drive future generations toward armed resistance. This is not a threat; it is a serious warning about the predictable consequences of injustice.
Sri Lanka has already endured decades of bloodshed. If land appropriation and the destruction of Tamil identity continue, the country risks returning to those dark days. Modern conflicts—including Russia’s prolonged inability to defeat Ukrainian resistance—demonstrate that even powerful military forces cannot permanently suppress a people determined to defend their homeland and rights.
No responsible person should desire another war. The only lasting solution is to stop demographic and cultural colonization, protect Tamil-owned lands, return unlawfully occupied property, and pursue a credible political settlement based on equality, dignity, justice, and the Tamil people’s right to determine their future. Violence must be prevented through justice—not provoked through oppression.

Continued land seizures, military occupation, and demographic colonization in the Tamil homeland could create anger and instability among future generations, pushing every community toward another dark period. This is not a call for violence; it is an urgent appeal to prevent it.
The peaceful and responsible course is to stop the seizure of Tamil lands, return occupied property to its rightful owners, recognize the Tamil homeland, and restore the Tamil people’s sovereignty and right to self-determination.
