With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Uncle, Rasaratnam Muthuratnanandan, ever-loving husband, cherished father, and retired D.G.M of the Ceylon Electricity Board. He
left us this morning.
Mr. Muthuratnanandan was a very decent and reliable person. As an instructor at Kattubedde Campus, he helped many students learn circuit theory and other related electrical engineering subjects. Many of his former students, now alumni of Kattubedde Campus, are deeply saddened by his passing.
His remains will be at Lotus Hall, Jayaratne Funeral Parlour, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm on October 1st. The funeral service will be held on October 2nd at 2:00 pm, followed by the funeral procession at 3:30 pm to Borella Cemetery for cremation at 4:00 pm.
