We are saddened to share the news of Mr. Rajaratnam Rajeswaran’s passing. He was a devoted member of the Jaffna/Kalviyankadu Gnana Paskarothaya Sangam for many years. Mr. Rajeswaran dedicated his efforts to developing the village of Kalviankadu, served as the former president of the GPS Association, and was a retired director of zonal education. He passed away on August 15, 2024.
In the past, he collaborated with the Eelam Tamil Government to develop a Tamil teaching syllabus alongside the Tamil education department.
Mr. Rajeswaran was known for his warmth and kindness. He made others feel valued and appreciated, often helping with local charities or listening to friends. Love and compassion guided his life. In a harsh world, he was a beacon of hope and positivity. His legacy of generosity and kindness inspires all who knew him.
His memory will live on. The last rites will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 9:00 AM at Annar’s residence on GPS Stadium Road.
