US Tamil Diaspora Applauds Vijay’s Victory; Urges Support for Sri Lankan Tamil Sovereignty

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The US Tamil Diaspora officially extends its heartfelt congratulations to Thiru. Vijay on his historic victory in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. As he assumes leadership, the Diaspora urges him to uphold the long-standing legacy of advocacy for the sovereignty and rights of Tamils in Sri Lanka.

The Diaspora reminds the newly elected leadership of the steadfast commitment demonstrated by the late Chief Minister, Dr. J. Jayalalithaa.
